Get Healthy Utah is seeking a qualified individual to work as a full-time Program Coordinator.
Principal Duties
The Program Coordinator will:
- Conduct outreach to stakeholders
- Participate in coalitions and workgroups
- Facilitate partnership meetings
- Give presentations to professional and public audiences
- Help assess the needs and priorities of various populations using appropriate assessment tools
- Assist to develop, conduct, and evaluate the effectiveness of health education/health promotion programs
- Create marketing and educational materials
- Prepare messages for social media
- Assist with grant report writing and review
- Assist with other assignment and duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate
The model Program Coordinator has:
- Education and experience in public health, health education and promotion, or a related field
- Excellent writing skills and skills to communicate effectively, accurately, and concisely
- Public presentation skills
- Professional experience with social media
- Experience collaborating with multiple partners
- The ability to be proactive and work independently
- The ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- The ability to interpret and follow instructions
The model Program Coordinator has knowledge of:
- Community organization methods
- Community resources and services
- Computer operations and uses, including word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and presentation design
- Program marketing, public relations, and media relations methods and techniques
- Effective communication techniques including audio-visual use
Preference may be given to applicants with the above.
Requirements include
- A bachelor’s degree
- Highly skilled at verbal and written communication
Position Information
- Salary Range $18 – $22 / hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Non-benefited position
