Intermountain Healthcare Presents Gift to Get Healthy Utah: Utah Leaders for Health

June 16, 2016 Get Healthy Utah Staff

Get Healthy Utah: Utah Leaders for Health recently received a $50,000 contribution from Intermountain Healthcare to aid in the development of the Get Healthy Utah website and additional educational efforts. The website offers healthy lifestyle resources and promotes physical activity as a way to help prevent and manage chronic diseases in Utah.

These resources target stakeholders and key sector groups (including schools, faith-based groups, workplaces, individuals and communities) and provide online tools and resources. The Get Healthy Utah initiative is focused on improving the health of all Utahns by supporting healthy eating and active living in order to reduce obesity and associated health consequences.
