On May 26, 2016 Get Healthy Utah held a Stakeholder Retreat. We were pleased to have 85 people from over 50 organizations participate, including representatives from healthcare systems, public health, workplaces, government entities, school groups, and many others.
Lt. Governor Spencer Cox gave a keynote address about the challenges and benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.
Robert Grow from Envision Utah provided an overview of health values ladders and attendees participated in instant polling on which values ladder was most prevalent for them.
Sarah Hodson, Executive Director of Get Healthy Utah, presented three potential future scenarios and Heather Borski, Utah Department of Health, facilitated a discussion about next steps and future direction. Participants provided their insight and perspective in table and large group discussions.
It was a great event and we look forward to the next stakeholder retreat.
