Hyrum
- Population: 11,500
- Designation Year: Fall 2026
Hyrum is taking a coordinated approach to community health by bringing together leaders from its five community services departments through the Community Services Health Coalition. The city promotes active living through accessible recreation and fitness opportunities, supports healthy eating through senior meals and food education, and provides programs that encourage connection, creativity, and lifelong learning. Initiatives such as art classes for residents with disabilities and the Hyrum Explorers youth STEAM program help create opportunities for residents of different ages and abilities to participate in community life. Hyrum is also planning investments in recreation infrastructure and programs to make physical activity more accessible to residents.
