Marriott-Slaterville

Marriott-Slaterville is nestled among an extensive trail system which connects cities throughout Weber County. Local trailheads lead to the entire Centennial Trail System and feed into the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, providing ample opportunities to walk, run, and bike. Marriott-Slaterville supports active living by sponsoring free and low-cost community sports/fitness programs for adults and children. To ensure that all residents have access to healthy foods, Marriott-Slaterville secured property for a future year-round farmers market, which will be the first of its kind in Northern Utah.

2024 Redesignation:
To be redesignated in Spring 2024, Marriott-Slaterville has made sure that it continues to offer opportunities for physical activity, healthy eating, and mental health. Over the past year, the city added 1.5 new miles to its local trail system and partnered with the Weber Communities that Care Coalition to offer QPR Suicide Prevention classes in their community. The city also hosts a “Seed and Greet” event during the springtime to distribute garden seeds and teach gardening skills to any interested resident.
