Get Healthy Utah is excited to partner with the Utah League of Cities and Towns to support Healthy Utah Community, a new designation program for cities and towns. This designation recognizes communities across Utah that do an exemplary job of implementing evidence-based strategies to improve community health.

Harrisville recently created a new Harrisville Community Action Committee to focus on improving community wellbeing and opportunities to live healthy lifestyles. Harrisville is proud to offer many walking and biking trails throughout the city, and is in process of adding even more. Harrisville has a community garden and this year, the city implemented ongoing trainings with first responders and city staff on mental health crises and suicide prevention.

2026 Redesignation
To be redesignated in Spring 2026, Harrisville, Utah continued to support the health and wellbeing of its residents. The city conducted a moveability audit to identify and strengthen community access to open lands such as parks, employment centers, shopping, and educational opportunities. This effort helped create a more connected and accessible environment for residents, ensuring that a strong foundation is in place for improved overall health and wellbeing.
