Funding to Support Healthy Utah Communities

Get Healthy Utah believes all Utahns should have access to healthy communities so they can live happy, healthy, and productive lives. Policies, systems, and environments in our communities impact the ability of Utahns to make healthy choices. There are communities in Utah just a few miles apart that have more than a 10-year difference in life expectancy. Get Healthy Utah shares and supports evidence-based policies and practices to improve healthy communities. Utahns that have access to fresh foods, green space, safe walking and biking trails, connected community amenities, affordable housing, and quality education will have a better quality of life.

This funding opportunity is for local Utah cities, towns, and municipalities to create or improve upon a policy, system, or environmental change that will increase access to healthy food, active living, and/or positive mental health. Applicants can choose from the strategies associated with  the Healthy Utah Community Designation or propose their own. Let’s work together to create Healthy Utah Communities!
