In 2020, Get Healthy Utah partnered with the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute to research the perspective city leaders hold towards their role in improving community health. The results of that study can be found HERE.
In 2024, Get Healthy Utah partnered again with the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute to research how those perspectives have shifted over the last four years, and what role and impact the Healthy Utah Community designation played.
Survey results show that city leaders feel an increasing sense of importance regarding their role to improve community health and feel significantly more invested in this responsibility. The Healthy Utah Community designation has helped provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary to make improvements on a local level.
